Sea Consortium Lanka (Pvt) Ltd., is a BOI approved joint venture, partnership with the world’s largest common user feeder operator, Sea Consortium Pte Ltd, Singapore.

The Company commenced business in 1994, together with X-Press Container Line (UK) Ltd, to provide the largest / most dependable common user feeder network to main line operators and Nvoccs over Colombo.

Sea Consortium’s principal line of business is providing feeder services to main line operators hubbing Singapore / Colombo / Middle East / Mediterranean, North Europe and South Africa connecting all ports in these regions. They maintain regional offices in Singapore / Port Klang / Colombo / Mumbai / Dubai / Geneva and London. The Company has also stretched its services to China / Korea and Africa.

Sea Consortium has contributed immensely in developing the Port of Colombo as a regional hub and has contributed a throughput of 250,000 TEU's annually, with an average of 30 vessel calls per month from the year 1994 onwards.

The Company was awarded ISO accreditation in the year 1999 by Lloyds Register of Quality Assurance, London.
