Inter Orient Holdings

Founded in 1996, Inter Orient Holdings (IOH) launched its operations with a primary objective of providing comprehensive, resourceful and well-structured transportation solutions for the shipside operation and trucking of containers between terminals from vessels calling at the Port of Colombo.

IOH has since broadened its horizons to cater to the businesses within the Setmil Group, maintaining a fleet of over fifty Prime Movers and 40ft Trailers in order to meet the demands of their ever increasing customer base.

IOH operates a manned 24X7 support facility situated at Ambatale, in close proximity to the Port of Colombo, that is completely equipped with state of the art technology and operated by highly trained engineering staff to carry out swift maintenance and repairs to guarantee a continuous uninterrupted service and unshakable confidence to its clients.

Today, IOH is the preferred provider for inter-terminal trucking requirements of the South-Asia Gateway Terminal within the Port of Colombo.
